Biography
eale Dean focuses his practice on business and general litigation. He was inducted into the American College of Trial Lawyers in 1964 and is also a Fellow in the American Bar Foundation, and the Texas Bar Foundation. He has been listed as one of The Best Lawyers in America each year since 1987, in Who's Who in American Law since 1979, and in Who's Who in America since 1972. He served as an Assistant District Attorney, Dallas County in 1947-1948, and twice served as a Special Assistant Attorney General of Texas in 1959-1961. He was a Regent of the National College of District Attorneys from 1985 through 2003. He was named a Top Attorney in Tarrant County by Fort Worth, Texas magazine in 2003, and a Texas Super Lawyer by Texas Monthly magazine since 2003. He was President of the Tarrant County Bar Association in 1971 and a Director of the State Bar of Texas, 1973-1976. He received the prestigious Blackstone Award from the Tarrant County Bar Association in 1990. He received his B.A. and L.L.B. degrees from the University of Texas, Austin, Texas in 1943 and 1947 respectively.
