Biography

Catherine Jane Alderatherine Jane Alder has served as General Counsel for Tarrant Appraisal District since 1987. She is a Fellow of the Texas Bar Foundation and a frequent speaker on property tax law. Ms. Alder earned her J.D. degree from Southern Methodist University, Dallas, TX and her B.A. degree from the University of Texas at Austin. She is admitted to practice in Texas, the U.S. District Court, Northern District of Texas, and the 5th Circuit Court of Appeals.
