Biography
ennifer L. Willingham represents clients in diverse matters including but not limited to the following areas: Business and Commercial Litigation, Insurance Defense and Railroad Litigation. She also represents both Plaintiffs and Defendants in Personal Injury Liability cases as well as employers/insurers in both subscriber and non-subscriber Workers' Compensation Litigation.
Litigation Matters
A representative sampling of Ms. Willingham's litigation accomplishments include:
- Defense jury verdicts for insurers in workers' compensation disputes
- Summary Judgments on behalf of insurers on liability issues
- Dismissal of lawsuits against companies based on forum selection clauses
- Dismissal of lawsuits against companies due to enforcement of arbitration provisions
- Successfully pursued claims against a company for violations of the Texas Theft Liability Act
- Successfully pursued claims against home seller based on violations of the DTPA
- Successfully defended non-subscriber employer against liability claims
- Plaintiff verdict in a breach of fiduciary duty and fraud case
Memberships and Awards
Ms. Willingham is a member of the State Bar of Texas, the Tarrant County Bar Association, Texas Young Lawyers Association as well as the Fort Worth-Tarrant County Young Lawyers Association. Ms. Willingham is also a Past Director for the Tarrant County Bar Association as well as the Past President of the Fort Worth-Tarrant County Young Lawyers Association. Ms. Willingham is also a member of the National Association of Railroad Trial Counsel. Ms. Willingham also serves on the Executive Committee of the Fort Worth Junior Woman's Club and is actively involved in her home community of Saginaw, Texas.
Ms. Willingham has also received the following honors:

- Top Attorney in Tarrant County by Fort Worth, Texas Magazine, 2008, 2009, 2010 and 2011.

While attending law school, Ms. Willingham was Chief Officer of the Harvey Moot Court Society, member of the Order of the Barristers, member of the 1st Amendment National Moot Court Team, and part of the winning team in the Dawson Sodd P.C. Moot Court Tournament.
